MCAT content books are useful, but reading them cover to cover usually isn’t. A better approach for using the books is targeted review.

Start with:

  • Anki

  • practice questions

  • topics you already learned in your classes

Then, when you hit something you don’t fully understand, use the books to fill that gap specifically.

Example:

  • confused about enzyme inhibition → review that chapter section

  • forgot lens equations → review optics directly

  • weak on amino acid properties → target that page only

Use the books as tools for targeted content review rather than your main source for content.

I’m hosting the MCAT Edge Bootcamp this Sunday at 7 PM EST.

We’ll cover:

  • timing strategy

  • question review systems

  • passage breakdowns

  • high-yield study methods
