If the CARS section feels like a hit or miss, you have to realize it is a game of trial and error. Not with the questions and answers (lol) but your strategy. The big companies like to say do what works for you without giving any actual advice, so here it is.

Try out these strategies for a week each and see how your score looks on average for each strategy. Decide which one to implement from there.

Strategy 1: Read the question before the passage to snipe the part you need (I used this and recommend trying this one first)

Again, a lot of people will have different opinions but this one is very efficient. Try it and see how it goes.

Strategy two: Skim the passage first then go to the questions

Don’t like this one as much because there’s more potential for wasting time, the most important resource during the CARS section
